Tiara Nixon, the “Salty Bird” started learning stained glass as a way to cope with the heaviness of world events. She quickly became obsessed. In 2026 she decided to combine her passions of stained glass and teaching and began offering workshops in her home state of Washington and Northern California. In addition to making and teaching Tiara takes commissions for custom stained glass projects and sells at some art markets.
